Matching Grant Application

MATCHING GRANT APPLICATION:  

Below are the basic informational parameters suggested before applying for a Theatrical Matching Grant for the Stage Play "Channeling-Jefferson: The Metaphysical Thomas and Sally."    The MATCHING GRANT PDF file will be LINKED here and listed in other sections.   The eventual Grants will be based on these bullet points below which can be given via email enquiry prior to applying for a Matching Grant.  These Points can be established first through:

A Matching Grant may be for half of the production's "mounting budget," or a persentage of the budget.  Initial inquireies should come first by email requesting a GRANT FORM and should included the following points:

• An introduction via your Theater Mission Statement.
• Size of theater and number of patrons you served.
• Location address of the theater.
• Contact information.
• History of theater and production organization.
• List of principals associated with the theatrical group who would be involved in the production.
• Amount of the entire budget.
• Expected cost of tickets.
• Marketing Plan.
• Amount requested to match or contribution in part.
• Projected time needed to mount the Play and expected
•  Schedule and duration of the run.  

 

 

This Section is reserved for posting the websites and notices of the various theatrical groups either under a sub-licensing Right's Agreement or who have entered into a "Matching Grant" co-production Agreement.  This listing may also be found elsewhere on the website.  

The Channeling Jefferson Foundation:

"Channeling-Jefferson: The Metaphysical Thomas and Sally" is in the final process of setting up a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation called, The Channeling Jefferson Foundation.  This foundation will be specifically created to "match" or "contribute" to the production of the Play "Channeling Jefferson" in a co-production capacity.  These Matching Grants will count as a seperate alliance from those theaters which  seek only to sub-license the Play.
